Recipient of the State of Maine’s Childcare Infrastructure Grant

Did you know? We were one of the first ten childcares in Maine to receive funding to build a new addition. We expanded our preschool, adding three state of the art, new classrooms. In addition to 3 to 6 year olds, We now provide care for 2 year olds in a beautiful, peaceful space, with Montessori elements, and caring staff.

Welcome to the community of Stepping Stones Montessori School--an Augusta, Maine private school with Montessori programs for Pre K to Grade 3, as well as home of Cushnoc Academy at Stepping Stones, a mastery-based education for Upper Elementary (Gr 4-6) and Middle School (Gr 7-8). We support and challenge students in their steps toward mastery.
